Apache

The Apache HTTP Server (/əˈpætʃi/ ə-PATCH-ee) is a free and open-source cross-platform web server software, released under the terms of Apache License 2.0. It is developed and maintained by a community of developers under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation.

MariaDB

MariaDB is a community-developed, commercially supported fork of the MySQL relational database management system (RDBMS), intended to remain free and open-source software under the GNU General Public License. Development is led by some of the original developers of MySQL, who forked it due to concerns over its acquisition by Oracle Corporation in 2009.

PHP

PHP is a general-purpose scripting language geared towards web development. It was originally created by Danish-Canadian programmer Rasmus Lerdorf in 1993 and released in 1995. The PHP reference implementation is now produced by the PHP Group. PHP was originally an abbreviation of Personal Home Page, but it now stands for the recursive initialism PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor.

Postfix

Postfix is a free and open-source mail transfer agent (MTA) that routes and delivers electronic mail.

Starting with version 3.2.5, it is available under the Eclipse Public License 2.0 at the user's option.

The original author is Wietse Venema. As of 2023, Postfix is still actively developed by its creator and other contributors.

Dovecot

Dovecot is an open-source IMAP and POP3 server for Unix-like operating systems, written primarily with security in mind.

Dovecot can work with standard mbox, Maildir, and its own native high-performance dbox formats.

Its original author is Timo Sirainen, and it was first released in July 2002.

K-9 Mail

K-9 Mail is free and open source email client for Android.

It supports both POP3 and IMAP protocols and supports IMAP IDLE for real-time notifications.

Putty

PuTTY is a free implementation of SSH and Telnet for Windows and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. It is written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham.

Termux

Termux is an Android terminal emulator and Linux environment app that works directly with no rooting or setup required. Most commands available in Linux are accessible in Termux, as well as built-in Bash commands.
